Through nine weeks of the college football season, a handful of teams have separated from the pack and emerged as legit contenders for a national championship. Who will separate themselves from the rest and end up in the College Football Playoff?
It’s hard to get too upset or emotionally invested in the initial rankings because games will sort so many of the debates out themselves but there were a few things that left me in wonder:
- They really ranked that team fourth and ahead of who came in fifth?
- Notre Dame has wins over two top-20 teams, two more than Texas has over any ranked opponents. Yet, the Longhorns and their three losses made the top 25 while the Irish didn’t.
- We’re big Alabama fans here this weekend as they prep for a top-10 matchup.
