Indiana Hoosiers College Football Preview 2021: Top Players
Best Indiana Hoosiers Offensive Player
WR Ty Fryfogle, Sr.
If 100% healthy after suffering a knee injury, QB Michael Penix is going to be the star of the show. However, Fryfogle will help anyone under center be great as the No. 1 man in the receiving corps.
The 6-2, 210-pounder is in his fifth season after a dominant 2020, averaging close to 20 yards per catch with 37 grabs for 721 yards and seven touchdowns. He hit Ohio State for 218 yards and torched Michigan State for 200.

Best Indiana Hoosiers Defensive Player
LB Micah McFadden, Jr.
One of the Big Ten’s best all-around defenders over the last few seasons, the 6-2, 227-pound McFadden gets all over the field and behind the line, leading the team over the last two years in tackles and turning into the team’s best pass rusher. He made 58 tackles with six sacks and 10.5 tackles for loss after coming up with 61 stops and ten tackles for loss in 2019.
2. CB Tiawan Mullen, Soph.
3. CB Jaylin Williams, Jr.
4. S Devon Matthews, Jr.
5. LB Cam Jones, Jr.
Top Incoming Indiana Hoosiers Transfer
DT Weston Kramer, Sr.
The 6-1, 290-pound grad transfer is a bit undersized compared to the rest of the Indiana tackles, but he’s very active, very productive, and experienced enough to be a big factor right away.
The former Northern Illinois Huskie came up with 95 tackles over the last four years with 12 tackles for loss as an All-MAC performer. He’ll be a nice part of the rotation.
