If Duke Williams is active for Bills Wild Card game vs. Texans, who sits?

Here are several ideas to consider as the Bills’ brass makes this choice ahead of their second post-season game in three seasons.

Robert Foster has largely failed to make the impact that he had during the 2018 season. The second-year pro has caught only 3-of-18 targets this year, gaining 64 yards on the year. In the Bills’ most recent game with the Jets, Foster saw the team’s highest snap totals from wideouts, but failed to make any impact on the game. Foster is still a home run threat with his speed even with the lack of production this year. He could be a boom-or-bust type of player in the playoffs, and the upside is appealing.

Foster also plays on the team’s special teams unit. While Williams may have the upper hand as a receiver this year, the Bills may pump the brakes on sitting Foster due to the presence the Alabama product gives on the coverage unit. That’s mostly the reason why Williams hasn’t played much anyway, he doesn’t contribute on teams.
