Texas A&M (9-4) hosted the Prairie View A&M Panthers (5-8) on Saturday night at Reed Arena and came out with a decisive win to end non-conference play on a two-game winning streak, while earning three Quad 1 victories before the SEC slate begins.
Non-conference play is over, and Coach Buzz gave a little insight into what his team learned before heading into SEC play.
“It’s been a lot over the last eight weeks; it feels like a season in itself, to be honest. I think a lot of the lessons that we’ve learned will apply over the next 10 weeks of conference play. I think the key will be not forgetting those lessons and execute them over the next 10 weeks. I think that will depend upon the maturity of our group, and we have a mature group of really good people.”

Texas A&M will get a break before SEC play on January 6th, where they will host LSU inside Reed Arena at 7:30 p.m. CT. The game will air on the SEC Network.
