North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye continues to impress in his first season as the starter for the Tar Heels. And Saturday night was the latest stand-out performance for the redshirt freshman.
Maye finished Saturday’s win over Pitt completing 34 of his 44 attempts for 388 yards and 5 touchdown passes. He didn’t throw an interception or commit a fumble, leading a big second-half charge for the Tar Heels in the win.
The quarterback was fantastic once again for UNC as the crowd gave him Heisman chants with the clock running out. And they weren’t the only ones singing the praise of Maye following the game.
