The Big 12’s 2023-24 regular season campaign comes to a close this weekend and among the final games remaining on the schedule is the Texas Longhorns men’s basketball team’s home game against the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday in Austin.
Neither team is currently ranked but both have had decent seasons overall, with the Longhorns putting together a 19-11 record (8-9, Big 12) and the Sooners going 20-10 (8-9, Big 12). The latter has been just good enough to earn votes in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.
It has been a tough conference to crack this season for both programs but their respective postseason chances are still looking pretty good. Still, a win would make them look better.
The Texas Longhorns will host the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, March 9 at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. CT.
