The Big Ten men’s college basketball schedule comes to a close on Sunday as the Purdue Boilermakers prepare to host the Wisconsin Badgers in the final game of the 2023-24 campaign in West Lafayette.
The Boilermakers are a juggernaut team this year, coming in at No. 3 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll thanks to a hearty 27-3 overall record with all three losses coming against conference competition in 19 tries. Winners of the last four, Purdue is coasting into the postseason in style.
The Badgers looked like they might make some noise this year but stumbled a bit, stitching together a 19-11 overall mark with a decent 11-8 tally against Big Ten foes. Wisconsin has faltered as the finish line approached, winning just three of the last 10 coming into the weekend.
