How Falcons 5-year, $105M extension with Chris Lindstrom impacts Eagles’ Isaac Seumalo

The Atlanta Falcons have reached an agreement today on a five-year, $105 million deal with Chris Lindstrom and we’re looking at how that impacts Isaac Seumalo

The Atlanta Falcons just reset the mark at the offensive guard position, agreeing to terms on a five-year, $105 million extension with guard Chris Lindstrom, NFL Network Insider Mike Garafolo reported on Monday.

Lindstrom, who was drafted by Atlanta in 2019 and became a starter in 2020, will now earn $63 million guaranteed and will have an average annual salary of $21 million.

The $21 million average puts Lindstrom ahead of the Colts’ Quenton Nelson ($20 million), while the $105 million total puts him ahead of Nelson as well.

With the legal tampering period now underway and the new league year set for Wednesday afternoon, we’re looking at how Lindstrom’s new deal impacts Isaac Seumalo.
