The 2020 season is officially in the books following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ dominant 31-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LV.
Now, the attention turns to what’s sure to be another busy offseason for the Chicago Bears and the rest of the league. And while it’s far too early to start talking Super Bowl LVI, the oddsmakers have already taken an early swing at the teams most likely to take the Lombardi Trophy home in 2022.
The Bears aren’t one of those favorites.
According to BetMGM, the Bears are +5000 to win Super Bowl LVI, which is tied for the 12th worst odds in the league, along with the Carolina Panthers, Las Vegas Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles.
It’s not really a surprise considering Chicago’s uncertainty at a number of positions, including quarterback, receiver and even general manager and head coach.
The Chiefs are the current favorites to win Super Bowl LVI at +600 with the Green Bay Packers (+900) and Buccaneers (+1000) rounding out the top three.
