Grant Williams appointed to NBPA Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Former Vol Grant Williams was appointed to the NBPA Foundation’s Board of Directors on Wednesday.

The board provides strategic oversight to expand NBA players’ philanthropic footprint globally.

Williams played at Tennessee from 2016-19. He helped guide the Vols to the 2018 Southeastern Conference regular-season championship.

Williams was a two-time Southeastern Conference Player of the Year during his Tennessee career. He was the first player to win the SEC Player of the Year award in back-to-back seasons since 1995.

The former Vol was selected in the first round of the 2019 NBA draft (22nd overall) by Boston.
