The New York Giants have needs all over their roster, but one area that appears stout is at running back, where Saquon Barkley, Dion Lewis, Wayne Gallman and Javon Leake all provide something of value.
Naturally, that means general manager Dave Gettleman would go out and add more running back depth — which he did on Thursday.
When the Giants hit the practice field for the final time ahead of their Friday night intrasquad scrimmage, they did so with the addition of rookie running back Tavien Feaster.
The Giants added RB Tavien Feaster to the roster. The former Clemson and South Carolina product was on the practice field Thursday.

The 5-foot-11, 221-pound Feaster originally signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina in April. However, he was released earlier this month as the team trimmed their roster to 80.
Feaster spent the first three seasons of his college career at Clemson before joining South Carolina as a graduate transfer in 2019.
In 38 career college games, Feaster gained 2002 yards on 346 carries (5.8 ypc) and scored 20 rushing touchdowns. He also hauled in 40 receptions for 270 yards and one touchdown.
In a corresponding roster move, the team has released wide receiver Tony Brown.
