The New York Giants enjoyed a much-needed bye in Week 10, but it didn’t help their standing in the USA TODAY power rankings.

Despite being off, the Giants experienced a two-spot slide, dropping from No. 24 overall to No. 26 overall.

26. Giants (24): The future of several key figures in this organization could be determined in coming weeks, which include five of the next seven on the road … starting in Tampa.

By several key figures, Nate Davis obviously means general manager Dave Gettleman and probably only Gettleman. Co-owner John Mara has already pledged his support to head coach Joe Judge, who has essentially pledged his support to the coaching staff.

Comparatively, the Washington Football Team rose four spots to No. 24 overall following their upset victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles rose one spot to No. 21 overall following their fourth win of the season and the Dallas Cowboys rose four spots to No. 2 overall following their thrashing of the Atlanta Falcons.

The Green Bay Packers now assume the role of lead dog, with the Houston Texans sliding into the basement at No. 32 overall.
