Giants’ Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay among those out vs. Chiefs

The New York Giants will be without RB Saquon Barkley, WR Kenny Golladay and three others on Monday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The New York Giants decided against placing running back Saquon Barkley (knee) and wide receiver Kenny Golladay (knee) on injured reserve three weeks ago, anticipating they would return within the IR window.

That did not happen.

Both Barkley and Golladay will miss Monday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs and they will not be alone.

In addition to Barkley and Golladay, the Giants will also be without linebackers Lorenzo Carter (ankle) and Carter Coughlin (ankle), as well as special teams ace Nate Ebner (ankle).

The good news? Wide receivers Sterling Shepard (hamstring) and Kadarius Toney (ankle) both practiced this week and could play in Week 8.
