Howell has completed five of 14 passes for 60 yards with an interception. He has been sacked five times. The Giants entered Sunday’s game with five sacks on the season. Howell has now been sacked at least four times in every game this season.

New York’s first touchdown came when Taylor found tight end Darren Waller for a 15-yard score. The second score came on a pass from Taylor to running back Saquon Barkley. Barkley finished the first half with 74 yards from scrimmage.

The bright spots for Washington are defensive ends Chase Young and Montez Sweat, who’ve combined for four tackles for loss and three sacks, and punter Tress Way, who is averaging over 50 yards per punt, hitting four inside the 20-yard line.
