Giants injury report: Kayvon Thibodeaux, 2 others in concussion protocol

New York Giants LB Kayvon Thibodeaux and rookie WR Jalin Hyatt were among a trio who missed practice on Wednesday due to concussions.

The New York Giants returned to the practice field on Wednesday ahead of a Week 11 game against the Washington Commanders at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.

After getting a little banged up in a 49-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys last week, all eyes were on rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito. He was a limited participant and head coach Brian Daboll announced that he will start on Sunday.

“I think he’s a good, young quarterback to work with, so you know, try to improve him this week from last week,” Daboll said.

On the downside of things, rookie wide receiver Jalin Hyatt and linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux joined veteran cornerback Adoree’ Jackson in concussion protocol.

Nose tackle Dexter Lawrence also received his usual mid-week rest day.
