Giants injury report: Jabrill Peppers continues to sit out

New York Giants safety Jabrill Peppers (ankle) missed practice again on Thursday and appears unlikely to play in Week 4.

The New York Giants were back at practice on Thursday as they prepare for a Week 4 matchup with the high-powered Los Angeles Rams. And as it was on Wednesday, safety Jabrill Peppers (ankle) was not participating.

With the Giants scheduled to fly out west on Saturday, the fact that Peppers remains a non-participant is not encouraging when it comes to his potential availability.

Although head coach Joe Judge would not rule him out early, it seems unlikely that Peppers will play.

That’s bad news for the Giants, who are already without rookie safety Xavier McKinney (foot) and have two other safeties — Julian Love (knee/ankle) and Adrian Colbert (quad) — appearing on their injury report.

Both Colbert and Love were again limited participants on Thursday.

The only other change on the injury report is the absence of veteran defensive back Brandon Williams, who was placed on IR with a groin injury.

The Giants’ full injury report can be found below:

Did not participate: S Jabrill Peppers (ankle)

Limited participation: DB Adrian Colbert (quad), DB Julian Love (knee/ankle)

Full participation: N/A
