Giants injury report: Andrew Thomas, Darren Waller don’t practice

New York Giants LT Andrew Thomas (hamstring) and TE Darren Waller (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday while other injuries piled up.

The New York Giants returned to the practice field on Wednesday ahead of the Week 2 game against the Arizona Cardinals in Glendale.

After their opening week debacle that included several concerning injuries, all eyes were on left tackle Andrew Thomas (hamstring) and his backup, Matt Peart.

The bad news is that Thomas didn’t practice. The good news is that head coach Brian Daboll says the left tackle is “day to day,” while Thomas said the injury is manageable.

The other bad news is that practice squad cornerback Amani Oruwariye suffered a terrifying injury on Wednesday and had to be taken to a local hospital after being immobilized and carted off the field.
