The New York Giants came into Thursday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers in hopes of carrying their momentum from their dramatic come-from-behind victory in Week 2.
The Giants were extremely short-handed taking on one of the league’s best teams, missing most notably running back Saquon Barkley, offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, and linebacker Azeez Ojulari.
Coming in as heavy underdogs, the Giants fought hard in the second half but the 49ers were too much to handle. San Francisco pulled away early in the fourth quarter and Big Blue was handed a 30-12 loss.
