The New York Giants experienced a drastic fall in the latest USA TODAY power rankings following a Week 15 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

A week ago, the New York Giants were riding high following their upset victory over the Seattle Seahawks and that was reflected in the USA TODAY power rankings.

The Giants shot up several spots to a high-water mark of No. 15. However, that climb was matched only by their fall following an embarrassing 26-7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals at MetLife Stadium in Week 15.

The Giants dropped seven spots and now rest at No. 22 overall in the most recent USA TODAY power rankings.

22. Giants (15): QB Daniel Jones returned just in time to pilot offense to season-low 159 yards. Hard to see this team rebounding against Browns or Ravens.

No mention of Jones’ injury, the horrendous offensive line play, poor play calling or lack of separation for the wide receivers, but that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Comparatively, the Dallas Cowboys rose one spot to No. 28 overall, the Philadelphia Eagles rose seven spots to No. 21 overall and the Washington Football Team rose two spots to No. 15 overall.

The winless New York Jets remain in last place after their 13th consecutive loss to start the season, while the Kansas City Chiefs remain in place at No. 1 overall.
