With each passing day, more and more Madden 21 ratings are leaked from EA Sports ahead of the game’s scheduled August 25 released.
Already we’ve discovered that New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley earned a rating of just 91, and we now know that tight end Evan Engram also earned a rating worthy of the top 10 at his position.
Wide receiver and tight end grades were leaked for the 10 best at each position on Friday, and Engram checked in at No. 6 overall with a rating of 88.

Engram has drawn wide praise this offseason with many pundits suggesting he is the best tight end in football or among the best, and it’s clear EA Sports agrees with that assessment.
Engram’s 88 rating was behind only Austin Hooper (89), Zach Ertz (90), Rob Gronkowski (95), Travis Kelce (97) and George Kittle (98), who fell just short of the 99 club.
Although he sports unparalleled athleticism and speed at the position, Engram’s early career has been hindered by injury. If he wants to take that next step into superstardom, the 25-year-old will need to stay on the field in 2020.
