Sunday evening will mark New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll’s return to Orchard Park.
Daboll was the Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2021, and a lot of the Bills offensive players had – and continue to have – a great relationship with their former coach.
Including Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
The QB had often discussed the close personal relationship he had with Daboll when the two were together in Orchard Park. Just this week, Allen gave plenty of credit to Daboll regarding f the way his own personal career has taken off in the NFL as well.
“In terms of my path and my career and getting better, he was probably the most influential one,” Allen said via video conference. “Spent a lot of time with him.”
Daboll, likewise, gave the kudos mostly to the player.
And he also misses him.
“You can probably put him in any offense and he’s going to produce,” Daboll said. “I miss him as a person, we’re close.”
