Giants announce coronavirus refund policy for season-ticket holders

The New York Giants have instituted a coronavirus refund policy for season-ticket holders in the event of game cancellations.

The New York Giants have deferred season-ticket payments twice since the coronavirus forced the shutdown of team facilities in March, and now they’re preparing for the possibility of cancellations.

The team announced on Thursday that they will institute a coronavirus refund policy for season-ticket holders, which would provide refunds in the event of a canceled or reschedule game, or in the event that they are forced to play without fans in the stands.

Should a season-ticket holder opt out of a full refund, the Giants will be offering an applicable amount as credit to be used towards future ticket purchases.

For fans who purchased their tickets through Ticketmaster.com, they will receive a full refund for any canceled game within 30 days.

However, despite the contingencies in place, the Giants anticipate the 2020 season will be played with fans and as scheduled.

“We have every expectation that there will be a full NFL game schedule in 2020,” the Giants said in a their press release.
