Giants’ Adoree’ Jackson, Aaron Robinson test positive for COVID, out in Week 15

New York Giants cornerbacks Adoree’ Jackson and Aaron Robinson have both tested positive for COVID-19 and are out in Week 15 vs. Dallas.

The New York Giants currently have seven players on the Reserve/COVID-19 list and while offensive lineman Wes Martin will soon come off, another player will go on.

Head coach Joe Judge announced on Thursday that cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, who is already nursing an quad injury, has tested positive.

Jackson joins the aforementioned Martin, linebackers Oshane Ximines and Cam Brown, wide receivers John Ross and Kadarius Toney, and rookie cornerback Aaron Robinson as those who have tested positive.

Safety Xavier McKinney, who is unvaccinated, has also been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list as a high-risk close contact.

“I think it’s everybody’s choice,” McKinney told reporters in mid-November. “Everybody has reasons. I have my reason. Everybody else has their reasons. That’s what I think.”

Just is optimistic that McKinney will test out of protocols and play on Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

Unfortunately for the Giants, Jackson and Robinson will be unavailable. Both players are unvaccinated and therefor not eligible to play following positive tests.

More to come…
