Georgia Bulldogs track star Matthew Boling won an indoor track and field national championship in the 200m race. Boling topped LSU’s Terrance Laird with a razor thing .01 second advantage.

Boling’s performance helped the Dawgs finish third. His 200m time of 20.19 seconds would have tied the sixth-place finisher at the 2016 Olympics. Boling is still only a sophomore at Georgia, so he’s got plenty of time to improve in his craft.

Boling’s time of 20.19 is the sixth-best 200m in college track history. Congratulations to Matthew Boling, who is also among the top competitors in the long jump event.
