Georgia gains commitment from talented 2022 prospect

The Georgia football program picked up a big-time commitment on Thursday from 2022 prospect Gunner Stockton.

A five-star quarterback out of Rabun County High School, Stockton was originally committed to South Carolina under Will Muschamp and Mike Bobo’s staff.

However, the 6’1″, 220-pound quarterback decommitted just a few weeks ago with the coaching changes in Columbia. Now, Stockton has picked a new landing spot in Athens.

The Rabun County dual-threat was rumored to have been leaning towards Auburn, but surprised many with his decision on Thursday, given 5-star Brock Vandagriff is already on the roster this fall.
