Georgia football WR enters transfer portal

Georgia football wide receiver becomes the sixth Bulldog to enter the transfer portal.

Georgia Bulldogs wide receiver Jackson Meeks has entered the transfer portal. As of the time of this post, Meeks was the sixth Bulldog to enter the portal.

Meeks is a key special teamer for Georgia. However, Meeks had trouble earning significant playing time and targets in Georgia’s deep wide receiver room. Meeks hauled in one catch for 23 yards this season.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound junior will have one season of eligibility left at his new home. Meeks is likely looking for more playing time at his transfer destination.

Meeks announced his plans to enter the transfer portal via social media:

Meeks is a former three-star recruit. He recorded 10 catches for 132 yards over three seasons at Georgia. Meeks also added five tackles in his career.
