Georgia football has picked up a commitment from 4-star running back Daijun Edwards.
Edwards, a member of the 2020 recruiting class, announced in a tweet on Thursday that he would be committing to the Bulldogs. He chose UGA over Florida State and others.
Georgia originally offered Edwards (Colquitt County High School in Moultrie) in 2016, and the talented back committed to the Dawgs after visiting Athens over the weekend.
At 5-10, 200 pounds, Edwards ranks as the 279th overall player in his class, 21st running back and 28th player in the state of Georgia.
Edwards joins Kendall Milton, the nation’s No. 7 back in the 2020 class, as Georgia’s two running back commits for this class.
With the commitment of Edwards, Georgia now has 22 commits for 2020. The Dawgs also now hold the No. 1 class as well, according to 247Sports.
