Georgia football’s most recent scholarship offer in the class of 2022 is talented four-star safety Sherrod Covil.
Covil, out of Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Va., is rated as the No. 11 safety in the country, the No. 10 recruit in the state of Virginia, and the No. 198 recruit overall, according to 247Sports Composite.

Covil (6-foot, 200 pounds) is an Under Armor All-American who holds 41 scholarship offers, including ones from programs like Alabama, Notre Dame, Penn State, Clemson, Miami, LSU and now Georgia.

Georgia currently holds the No. 4 recruiting class in the country for the class of 2022.
According to the 247Sports Crystal Ball, Clemson is favored to land Covil followed by Virginia Tech.
