Georgia football is off right now until summer workouts begin but coach Kirby Smart and staff are working hard in recruiting. The NCAA’s recruiting dead period ends on June 1, which will allow recruits to visit college programs for the first time in 16 months. That means scholarship offers and recruiting visits are important as ever as the Bulldogs finally get a chance to show off the new $80 million facilities.
The most recent offer in the class of 2023 Tupelo High School offensive tackle Zay Alexander, who stands at a whopping 6-foot-7, 350 pounds as only a junior.
Blessed and extremely honored to receive an offer from The University of Georgia @tupelofootball @coach_TWard @ThardiN1235 @CoachMattLuke @GeorgiaFootball @GeneSwindoll #GoBulldogs pic.twitter.com/YJssn38YzS

It’s been a busy month of recruiting for Alexander, a Tupelo, Miss., native, who in just the month of May alone, has earned scholarship offers from Indiana, Oregon, Ole Miss, Florida and now Georgia.
