Wilson III is the son of longtime NFL defensive back, Eugene Wilson II, who won a couple of Super Bowls with the New England Patriots. Wilson II played in the NFL from 2003-2010 after dominating at the college level with Illinois.

Eugene Wilson III will create a name for himself thanks to his speed and versatility. Wilson III runs track for Gaither High School in Tampa, Florida, in addition to playing football. Wilson III plays wide receiver and defensive back for Gaither.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound athlete has offers from Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Penn State, and many more. Wilson III put up some impressive numbers as a junior last season:
