The Georgia Bulldogs have added another class of 2023 commitment. The Bulldogs just landed a verbal commitment from five-star cornerback AJ Harris.

Now, kicker Peyton Woodring has committed to Georgia. Woodring plays high school football for Ascension Episcopal in Lafayette, Louisiana.

The 5-foot-10, 165-pound kicker is an unranked recruit (247Sports only has one kicker that is ranked), but is considered one of the top kickers in the class of 2023. Peyton Woodring has gone on recent visits to Ohio State, Florida State, Georgia, and Vanderbilt.

The Ascension Episcopal kicker has offers from Alabama, Air Force, Louisiana, and more. Woodring hit a 56-yard field goal this past season.

Georgia’s current starting kicker, Jack Podlesny, is a senior, but has one more year of eligibility beyond 2022. The Bulldogs additionally have another young, talented kicker in redshirt sophomore Jared Zirkel.

Woodring would likely compete with Zirkel for the starting role if Podlesny does not return in 2023. Woodring has a big leg and is capable of handling kickoff duties at the next level.

Here’s a look at his 56-yard field goal from the 2021 high school football season:
