The Georgia Bulldogs have made the top five for four-star wide receiver Adonai Mitchell. Mitchell is a 2021 recruit, who plays high school football for Cane Ridge in Antioch, Tennessee.
Despite being a talented in-state prospect, Mitchell doesn’t appear to have any plans to attend the University of Tennessee. The Volunteers failed to make Mitchell’s top five. Mitchell released his top-five via Twitter:
Got it out the mud I can’t pretend that I’m used to this … 5️⃣ pic.twitter.com/TzUVuL1wVT

Mitchell’s top five includes: UGA, Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU, and Virginia Tech. Mitchell is 6-3 and weighs 190 pounds. He’ll look to add some weight to his frame before playing in either the SEC or ACC.
Mitchell received an offer from Virginia Tech back in February. What’s next for him? Will he join Georgia’s class of 2021? We’ll keep you updated throughout his recruitment.
Kirby Smart and Georgia currently have four commits in the class of 2021 and are looking to add more. Unfortunately with no G-Day and a dead period in recruiting, there’s not much coaches can do at the moment.
