The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to class of 2023 quarterback prospect Eli Holstein. Holstein plays high school football for Zachary High School in Zachary, Louisiana.
Holstein is considered a pocket passer, but he has impressive athleticism. He graded quite well on athleticism at a recent Indianapolis combine. Based on these results, Holstein is athletic enough to be a threat with his legs at the college level.
Had a great day at the @Elite11 Regional in Indianapolis. Slipped on my shuttle but proud of my score. Number 1 score in the country so far this year. @_ZHSFootball @CoachBrew1 @samspiegs @JimmyDetail @JUSTCHILLY @QuarterbackLab @CoachTomShaw pic.twitter.com/bJJ6wB1qJa

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound quarterback is ranked as a three-star recruit. Holstein is considered the No. 134 prospect in the class of 2023 according to the 247Sports composite ranking.
Interestingly, Holstein is the highest ranked three-star recruit in the composite rankings. The rankings will be updated over time, and some of the highly rated three-star prospects are likely to become four-star recruits.
Holstein, who is the No. 7 pro-style sophomore quarterback in the country, has scholarship offers from Auburn, Mississippi State, Penn State, Michigan State, Purdue, LSU, Texas A&M and more.
The three-star Zachary High School product announced his scholarship offer from Georgia via his Twitter account:

The LSU Tigers are likely going to be the favorites to land Holstein, since he is an in-state prospect for them. LSU offered Holstein his first college football scholarship.
