Georgia Bulldogs Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament History

Taking a look at the Georgia Bulldogs Men’s Basketball NCAA Tournament History, year-by-year and game-by-game.

The Georgia Bulldogs have made 12 trips to NCAA Tournament and hold a combined record is 7–12.

Georgia’s first visit to the tournament came in the 1982-83 season, and it was a memorable one. The Dawgs, led by Vern Fleming, James Banks and Terry Fair, took down a No. 1 seed Saint John’s and Michael Jordan’s No. 2 seeded North Carolina en route to a Final Four visit. Georgia would fall to NC State, which would go on to win the National Championship.

Since that magical tournament run, Georgia has been quiet in March. Aside from a few wins, it’s mostly been early knock-outs for the Dawgs.

Let’s take a look through each of Georgia’s NCAA Tournament appearances and how the Dawgs performed in each round of the Big Dance.
