Georgia – Alabama: What Alabama media is saying about Georgia ahead of Saturday’s top-3 matchup

Here is what Alabama media is saying about the Bulldogs ahead of Saturday’s top-3 matchup.

No. 3 Georgia is set to face No. 2 Alabama this Saturday in Tuscaloosa, barring any postponement or cancellation as Alabama head coach Nick Saban has tested positive for Covid-19.

We will have updates here as things develop, but right now – Saturday’s top-3 matchup – a battle for king of the SEC – is still on, just with Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian at the reigns for the Tide.

Alabama is coming off of a 63-48 win at Ole Miss, which featured the most prolific offensive performance in SEC history.

There was a combined 1,317 yards of offense, and the 111 points scored set the record for the most points scored in a regulation-game in League history.

Alabama’s offense won’t have it as easy this week. Georgia looks like the best defense in the country and its possibly the best unit the Bulldogs have ever had.

“Quarterback Mac Jones has been nothing short of spectacular this season. Against Ole Miss, Jones led the Tide to eight consecutive touchdown drives and threw for 417 yards.
