When a team makes a big trade like the Philadelphia 76ers did on Thursday when they sent Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond, Seth Curry, and picks to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for James Harden and Paul Millsap, there will be some emotions.
For Georges Niang, he was really good friends with Drummond due to their time knowing each other from New England. He also built up a good relationship with Curry and when there is a big trade such as this one, it is tough to see your friends go during this time.
However, business is business and the Sixers brought in a huge piece in the form of Harden.

Niang also tweeted his goodbyes to both Drummond and Curry as they move on to the Nets. He wished them luck and tweeted pictures of their action on the court.

The Sixers now move on with Harden and Joel Embiid leading the way. Niang will continue to play a big role off the bench as both a shooter and a guy who can provide some time as a small-ball center as well.
