It’s not superficial for Gee Scott, Jr.
The four-star Ohio State commit isn’t planning to live in Columbus because it’s truly his dream city. It’s not about the clothes or the name for the high school senior who is currently ranked as the Class of 2020’s 10th-best receiver according to 247Sports.
He chose Ohio State because it’s all about development.
Scott’s commitment has helped Ohio State bring in quite possibly the best wide receiving recruiting class in modern history. He’ll join the nation’s top overall commit in Julian Fleming.
He’ll tag-team with Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave. He’ll be a dynamic part of Ryan Day’s offense, and that type of impact is why he wanted to join the Buckeyes.
Tony Gerdeman, a senior writer at The-Ozone, caught up with Scott Jr. and got the entire explanation for why he chose Ohio State over other top programs.

At 6-foot-2.5, Scott Jr. has all the attributes to be a future star. With Brian Hartline’s wide receivers having immense success at the collegiate level, Scott Jr. knew this was the place to be.
Now, in just a few months, he’ll get to prove himself and earn that black stripe.
