The latest Fortnite crossover brings the hit TV series Futurama to the multiplayer game, with new cosmetics and even an iconic weapon. The Fortnite Futurama update is live now, and it adds a few changes for the broader game as well, including weapons and more.
Headlining the crossover is a set of three skins.
- Bender skin (includes alt style and Ben Rodriguez back bling) and unbendable girder pickaxe)
- Philip J. Fry skin (includes alt style and Hypnotoad back bling)
- Turanga Lee skin (includes alt style and Nibbler back bling)
You can also spend some V-Bucks to get a themed harvesting tool that matches each skin: unbendable girder for Bender; giant nutracker for Philip; and solid gold fiddle for Turanga.
During a match, you might pick up Bender’s Shiny Metal Raygun, a handy handgun that never runs out of ammo – but it does overheat after a while. Bender also sells the gun, so make sure you have some gold bars handy if you talk to him.
The Mammoth Pistol is another new weapon available in the Wilds update. This pistol is hefty and packs a mean punch if you land a shot, and if you equip the new Pistol Recycle augment, your shot might not use any ammo. Scoped weapon users can also find and equip the Scoped Salvo augment, which increases damage from scoped weapons at the expense of slowing down rate of fire.
Finally is the Lever Action Shotgun Unvaulted, which you might find in chests or by claiming a Point of Interest.
