Texas A&M is not recruiting as well as last offseason. Brady Quinn has taken note of that fact.
The college football analyst spoke on the change at length with Lavar Arrington on FOX Sports’ Outkick the Coverage.
It’s a direct correlation to the microscope has been put on us. We can’t do what we did last year and our recruits look a little different right now. I haven’t seen that dramatic of a swing in recruiting ever.
When Nick Saban comes out and basically says, ‘Yeah, dude, you bought that class.’ This justifies it.
Quinn’s take is akin to some of the national takes made about Texas. While there may be a modicum of truth in his commentary, the Aggies proved their ability to close last year. Albeit, they could be in trouble if they don’t win a couple key Dallas area battles.
The Aggies will battle Texas for Javien Toviano and Anthony Hill among others. Both players could be considered must-get talents for both teams.
