Four-star guard Dellquan Warren takes a dive into his Mississippi State commitment

Dellquan Warren talks about his commitment to Mississippi State.

Dellquan Warren committed to Mississippi State last week, giving the SEC program a boost. A four-star recruit, Warren is one of the top point guards in the nation.

According to On3, he is the No. 13 point guard in the nation. He is a four-star recruit according to ESPN and Rivals. He plays for Keystone Athletic Academy in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Warren gave his verbal to Rutgers in December but de-committed from the program five months later.

In May, Warren was offered by Penn State. He committed to Mississippi State last week because of head coach Chris Jans and the program felt “like home.”

“They was the right fit because they’re really had me as their main priority and my play style matches the way coach Jan’s wants to play,” Warren said.

“Just how they made it feel like home soon as I landed in Starksville. It just felt like somewhere I could be the best version of myself at.”

Warren is locked in on his senior season and playing SEC basketball, sooner rather than later.

He has good range and is a very strong defender. He can dribble, drive and penetrate and also has a good post-up game.

“It feels great to be done with the recruiting process,” Warren said. “It feels good to be a Bulldog and I can’t wait to get on campus next fall!”
