The Texas Longhorns and Steve Sarkisian continue their momentum on the recruiting trail.
It seems as if every other day a highly-touted prospect from the 2022 recruiting class mentions Texas among their top schools. Four-star athlete Ish Harris was the latest to do so on Tuesday afternoon.
Oklahoma State, Utah, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Baylor made the list alongside Texas. However, Harris did mention that his recruitment is still 100% open.
The 6-4, 190-pound playmaker is a versatile athlete that played two-ways for Pilot Point High School as a running back and multiple defensive spots. As a junior in 2020, Harris was named the District 4-3A-I Offensive MVP after rushing for 1,788 yards.

Sarkisian’s staff offered Harris on Feb. 12 of this year and were able to quickly build a solid relationship with the Texas native. He’s listed as the No. 23 athlete in the 2022 recruiting class and a top 45 player overall according to 247Sports composite rankings.
