Four Longhorns mentioned among the Big 12’s top wide receivers in 2023

Austin is home to four of the top wide receivers in the Big 12.

Texas is home to four of the best wide receivers in the Big 12 Conference.

Patrick Conn of College Sports Wire recently ranked the top wide receivers in the Big 12 ahead of the 2023 college football season. The list of 16 pass catchers included four Longhorns, the most of any program. Texas Tech was close behind with three mentions.

It’s no secret that Xavier Worthy is the clear-cut No. 1 wide receiver in the conference, but Worthy’s strong supporting cast this year could set him up for a record-breaking season.

Here’s a look at the four Texas receivers mentioned on Conn’s rankings and where each of them landed.

No. 1: Xavier Worthy

No. 5: AD Mitchell

No. 11: Jordan Whittington

Honorable Mention: Isaiah Neyor

Other notable names on the ranking include Brennan Presley, Jerand Bradley, Matthew Golden, Phillip Brooks and Jayden Higgins.
