Former Vols’ NBA results for Jan. 16

A look at how former Vols performed in the NBA on Tuesday.

One former Vol competed in the NBA on Tuesday, while one was inactive.

Philadelphia defeated defending NBA champion Denver, 126-121, at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Tobias Harris started at forward for the 76ers. He totaled 24 points, five rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal.

Tuesday’s win is the fifth consecutive for the 76ers, who also defeated Houston, 124-115, Monday at Wells Fargo Center.

In his last four games, Harris, who played for the Vols from 2010-2011 under head coach Bruce Pearl, is averaging 25.7 points per contest.

At Tennessee, Harris was a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2011. He was also a second-team all-conference selection by the SEC coaches.

Harris was selected in the first-round of the 2011 NBA draft by Charlotte (19th overall). He has played for Milwaukee, Orlando, Detroit, the Clippers and 76ers.

Jaden Springer was inactive Tuesday for Philadelphia.
