Former UGA basketball center Braelen Bridges signs with British Basketball League team

Former Georgia Bulldogs center Braelen Bridges has signed with the Leicester Riders, who are one of the top teams in the British Basketball League.

Last season, the Leicester Riders finished second in the British Basketball League. The Riders are the oldest and one of the most successful teams in the league.

The British Basketball League is growing and could add a few teams in the upcoming years. Braelen Bridges averaged 8.7 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for Georgia during his senior season. The 6-foot-11, 245-pound center will look to continue his basketball career overseas.

The Leicester Riders last won the British Basketball League in 2021-2022.
