Sixth-year senior and former Texas and Tennessee linebacker Juwan Mitchell has been shown the door at Arizona State, his third stop in as many years.
The former junior college standout who hails from New Jersey was expected to have a major role for an Arizona State team led by first-year head coach Kenny Dillingham.
Unfortunately, Mitchell was kicked off the team following one week of camp. According to a report by Sundevil Source of 247Sports, it appears Mitchell wasn’t a cultural fit at Arizona State.
He is the second player to be kicked off the team over the weekend, and it is unclear what his next move is.
During his time at Texas, Mitchell played in 18 games totaling 99 tackles, three sacks, and five pass deflections.
