Former Oklahoma wide receiver Mario Williams was in Austin this week for an official visit with Texas.
After being spotted in Los Angeles last week for a visit to USC, many national media sites confidently predict Williams to reunite with former head coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans.
However, it’s a positive sign that Steve Sarkisian and his staff were even able to get the former rival wide receiver on campus for a visit. According to Nick Harris of Horns247, Williams arrived on Tuesday.

Williams is one of the top rated players in the transfer portal right now, and wide receiver is a crucial position of need for the Longhorns.
As a true freshman with Oklahoma last season, Williams hauled in 35 receptions for 380 yards and four touchdowns. The former four-star prospect was rated the No. 4 wide receiver in the 2021 recruiting class.
