Buckeye Nation has lost a brother in former walk-on defensive lineman, Kharim Stephens. The former Ohio State football player passed away on Saturday, March 27th. Stephens was only thirty years old when he wrecked his 2017 Suzuki motorcycle near Cleveland Avenue in Columbus, Ohio.
The crash remains under investigation, but Stephens motorcycle was struck at 3:30 PM on that Saturday when a 2005 Toyota Scion was turning left into a Family Dollar parking lot. Stephens was later taken to Ohio Health Grant Medical Center, where he died a few hours later.
Stephens was on Urban Meyer’s first squad in 2012 that went undefeated, but the New York native did not appear in any games. He graduated from Ohio State in 2015.
