Former Michigan State football center getting first team reps for Baltimore Ravens

A former Spartan is making a case for why he should make the Baltimore Ravens roster

Last year, center Nick Samac was one of the few bright spots on a rough offensive line unit for Michigan State football. Now, he’s making the case to make the final roster for the Baltimore Ravens.

Samac, who was the Ravens’ seventh-round draft pick in the 2024 NFL draft, has been getting first team reps for the Baltimore Ravens with Tyler Linderbaum injured. Samac has made the most of that opportunity, and he has been getting noticed by head coach John Harbaugh, as reported by Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic:

Zrebiec also added thoughts that this indicates Samac’s chances to make the roster are much better now than they were just a few weeks ago.

Samac was recently the No. 2 offensive player in the Ravens preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
