Michigan State Football has seen an unprecedented number of players head to the NCAA transfer portal in the last few months, with 15 Spartans entering the portal since mid-November. One of those was cornerback Chris Jackson, who entered the portal on Christmas Eve. Jackson found a new home on Thursday, and announced that he will be transferring to Washington State.
Jackson was a 3-star recruit out of Lassiter High School in Georgia and he arrived in East Lansing as part of their 2018 recruiting class. Jackson played in five games in 2019 as a redshirt freshman and then started the first two games in 2020. However, in December, Mel Tucker announced that Jackson was no longer with the team for undisclosed reasons.

Jackson will get a fresh start at a nice program in Washington State.
