Former LSU WR Odell Beckham Jr. still not practicing for Browns after negative COVID-19 test

Odell Beckham Jr. has still yet to return to the practice field, but is faring well.

Former LSU wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. tested negative for COVID-19, but still isn’t permitted to rejoin the Cleveland Browns for practices after he was sent home by the team on Thursday because he wasn’t feeling well.

Beckham won’t be able to reunite with the team until he has another negative test for the virus over a 24-hour time period.

There was a level of concern about virus spread after the shutdown of the Indianapolis Colts facilities due to positive tests after the Browns defeated the team, 32-23 on Sunday.

Chief medical officer Dr. Allen Sills said on Thursday that the NFL hasn’t seen any evidence of on-field transmission of coronavirus from activities related to football.
